How does an Image Override Module works?

By Default LightSpeed allows one kind of orientation of product images in the web store. It means that you specify in LS admin the dimension of the product and that will be set for entire webstore. So either you have all product images to be wither vertical or square or horizontal but not mix the dimensions. 

But if you have tall boots (vertical image) as well as sandals (horizontal images) in your webstore to sell, Image override module helps to overwrite this default setting of LS. This feature requires zoom module to be installed.

Once installed, in a self-administered module, you can select a specific image format, square, vertical or horizontal for an individual product category to maintain consistency of image presentation (show shoes horizontally and boots vertically as eg).
