Editing Inventory Levels

How to edit your inventory levels.

The preferred method to update your inventory levels is by performing a count using the LightSpeed Cloud Inventory Counts feature. The following method will allow you to edit the inventory level for any individual item.

1. Click Inventory from the Main Menu, and then click Item Search.
2. Search for the item you would like to adjust the inventory for.
3. Click the Description (Edit Record) of the item.
4. Click INVENTORY on the left.
5. You may edit the quantity and/or Unit Cost on any line. It's important to note that your total quantity on hand is determined by summing the quantity of each of these lines. Also, your Unit Cost will be an average of the costs found on each of these lines.
