What is Headless eCommerce?
Headless eCommerce is an innovative architecture that separates the frontend and backend of an online store. This decoupling offers flexibility and customization, allowing businesses to choose different technologies for each part without affecting the other. Here's a simplified explanation for online retailers:
1. Decoupled Frontend and Backend: The frontend (user interface) and backend (server-side logic) operate independently, enabling businesses to make changes to one without disrupting the other.

Advanced Dynamic Filter Limitations
In implementing the Advanced Dynamic Filter app in your eCom website, we'll be taking over the thumbnail result loading and display on any category pages. To accomplish this, certain limitations are currently in place:
Non-standard Features
Non-standard theme features within thumbnail displays may not be possible or may require additional work outside the standard app install scope.
eCom's "Discount Rules" Thumbnail Price Display
The app cannot currently support displaying discounted pricing from eCom's "Discount Rules" feature (https://ecom-support.lightspeedhq.com/hc/en-us/articles/220662787-Creating-discount-rules), because the discount rules feature generates the discount pricing on the fly (instead of updating the pricing directly in the catalog, which is

Data Bridge: What is Root Category setting?
If you want to limit which categories are used in bridge sites, you can set a root category. This indicates to the bridge to only use categories within the specified root category. E.g. if you have categories like:
Root A - Sub AA - Sub AB
Root B - Sub BA - Sub BB
If you set your root category to "Root B", only categories "Sub BA" and "Sub BB" would be used by the bridge. Any other categories would be ignored.

Editing a Theme in eCom
If you're using a theme you've purchased from the eCom marketplace, it is possible to edit the theme, but doing so will remove the theme from it's update cycle, so you should be sure you're aware of the implications before editing the theme.
What is an "update cycle"?
Themes in eCom can be automatically updated by the theme's developer. Developer's often release updates to themes to fix bugs, improve security or add on functionality. If you edit your theme in eCom, it makes a copy of theme code in your site so you can customize it as you want, but

How does a Custom Payment Integration work in Lightspeed eCom?
Custom payment integrations for eCom are built and hosted in our external app framework. Once payment is completed, the user is then sent back to their eCom order receipt.
With some payment integrations, status of payment is not immediately known, in which case our system will continue to communicate

Sizing your images from RAW to JPEGs
