What is Meta text? Where in the Homepage can I place that?
You would need to place the meta text in the homepage module for the SEO.
- Meta title: 65 characters long (including the spaces) title for the store, best describing the business. It shows on the browser tab for that page - next to the favicon.
- Meta Description: 255 characters long paragraph describing the business, location, brands that you carry etc. Anything that is full of searchable keywords. It will show in Google search.
- Meta Keywords: collection of 15-20 keywords, separated by comma. Google doesnt use keywords anymore but there are some other search engines that use keywords.

I have large files to send, how do I use AdVision FTP?
AdVision FTP site is a server based repository for large files that generally are to big to send via email or upload to online forms.
If you have multiple files that are in excess of 8 MB, you can upload via our SFTP site atsftp.advision-ecommerce.com
To send files to us, please download and install an FTP application from https://filezilla-project.org/download.php (Windows & Mac versions available).
Once installed, you can then set up to connect to our SFTP site...

What is and is not supported when it comes to 3rd party eCommerce Modules?
AdVision Support covers any web store customization we have done on any 3rd party eCommerce Modules such as Lightspeed's OnSite and is restricted within a fixed version number.
What this means is that AdVision's support covers any issues arising on the eCommerce module based within the version number that we customized and its subsequent release such as 2.0 to 2.1 and 2.2 and so on.
What is not supported is when a new full release version from 3rd parties are released, from 2.0 to 3.0 to 4.0 etc.

How do I set up monthly auto billing on the recurring invoice I receive?
When paying your recurring invoice through Freshbooks, you have the option of saving your credit card information to be automatically billed going forward. That way, you won’t have to manually enter your information each time.
You can do so by enabling the "Save card and automate future payments" option when entering your credit card information for the first time.

The first area that we would investigate on an issue like this, is whether or not our internal server security system has blocked your access.
This happens when more than 3 unsuccessful attempts are made to login to either the e-commerce module or any of our add-on modules. Please Google : what's my IP - and then copy and paste the IP number that you see and send it over to AdVision support ASAP. Once we determine whether or not this is the issue, we can help you investigate further.

What is HomePage module and how it works?
Its a self administered Manage module which allows you to select a template for your homepage, upload images/text and also manage the meta text. You can also link the images to any page from the webstore. We can also make arrangements to upload videos to a section of the homepage.

Yes, we have a add on module that allows you to read one product set up in the point-of-sale and shared across numerous web categories.

What is supporting files module?
The supporting files add-on installed on your web store allows you to add PDF documents or audio files snippets (listen) to any given product within your web store to support the information initially presented on the product page. This allows for much more expanded documentation to be attached to a product and downloaded for review through the main product view page, without having to purchase the product.

How does an Image Override Module works?
By Default LightSpeed allows one kind of orientation of product images in the web store. It means that you specify in LS admin the dimension of the product and that will be set for entire webstore. So either you have all product images to be wither vertical or square or horizontal but not mix the dimensions.
But if you have tall boots (vertical image) as well as sandals (horizontal images) in your webstore to sell, Image override module helps to overwrite this default setting of LS. This feature requires zoom module to be installed.

How can I manage the images for Banner / Letterbox?
Yes, with this module installed, each and every time you create web category, you will be able to upload a set sized image to appear above the thumbnail previews that show up when a category is selected. This will allow you to set the theme/mood of the category.

What is Live chat module?
The live chat module, is a third-party installation of their live chat pop-up. Just sign up with any 3rd party and forward us their code and we can install and stylized as necessary the chat window to work with the design. The live chat functionality, allows you to make yourself available or off-line as and when necessary.

What is color swatch module and is this module compatibale with lightspeed retail?
Yes, the color swatch module is compatible with the input point-of-sale [LightSpeed]. It reads the color options prepared within the POS and then makes them available through our color swatch module administration area, for you to be able to access and add to each and every color option a specific colored swatch [small image] for reference when your viewer is visiting the main product page.
