  • Why aren't products I've added to my OnSite catalog importing into AdVision eCommerce?

    There can be several reasons products in OnSite aren't loading in your AE system.  To troubleshoot, try the following steps:

    1. Ensure any products you've created in OnSite have been uploaded to your Lightspeed webstore database (i.e. you've uploaded your latest catalog changes from your POS to the LS webstore database).  If the products have not been uploaded to the LS webstore then AE can not grab them.  If the products have been updated to your LS webstore, move on to step 2 below. NOTE: as you continue to troubleshoot, make sure to update your LS webstore database with any changes

    With AdVision's Sift Fraud Prevention app, any time a new order is placed, updated or paid for in your webstore, the order information is forwarded to your Sift account for a fraud analysis.   • How do I stop customer's from ordering more than what's in stock?

    1. In AE admin, go to Settings>>Sites>>click on the site you want to edit.
    2. Under the Cart tab, there is a checkbox labelled "Max. Qty Allowed to Order Limited by Stock Qty".  Check this box to stop customers from ordering more than what you have in stock for any particular item.  If you want to allow customers to order more than what's in stock, uncheck the box.
    3. Make sure to click Save Changes when done.
  • Adding product images

    Good product photos are essential for the success of your online store. Use clear, visually appealing images to increase your turnover opportunities. We recommend you use square or rectangular high-resolution images, as they provide better results when customers zoom in, and give you the opportunity to optimally present your product range.

    To make your product range even more appealing, you can add a unique image to each variants of your products. 

    Do not hesitate to ask your suppliers for new pictures if theirs do not meet your quality standards.

  • What languages are available in Multi languages module?

  • How do I allow/disallow customer's to order Out of Stock items?

    You can manage which availabilities customer's are allowed to order by doing the following:

    1. In AE admin, go to Settings>>Sites>>click the site you'd like to manage.
    2. Under the Cart tab, find the "Allow Ordering of" label which will show a list of availability checkboxes.  Check the availabilities you'd like to ALLOW ordering for; Uncheck the availabilities you don't want users to order.
    3. Once you're done, click Save Changes.

    The most common setup for our clients is to check "In Stock" and "Low Stock", thus allowing your customers to order anything that has a stock qty greater than 0.

  • How can I manage images on Gallery module?

    Once installed, you'll be able to navigate to an area where you will be advised as to the final size of the images for the gallery. Prepare your images at that set size ideally, for consistency of presentation. Through an intuitive a add-on module, you will be able to upload your images.

  • Adding products to categories

    Categories are an important part of the navigation of your online store. Create categories to help your customers quickly find what they're looking for, and assign products to categories.

    To add products to a category

    1. Create your Categories. 
    2. On the left menu of the Back Office go to SHOP > Products > Products and click the product you want to work with.
    3. In the CATEGORIES section click Select category to specify the category or categories category.
    4. A pop-up window displays. Select the categories you want to add. You can add products to any number of categories.  Note: You can remove an existing category from a product by simply unselecting the category in the

  • How Category Lead-in module works?

    It is Self administer module which allows you to add image or text for each category separately.

    You will upload images in the sizes as provided by AdVision or you can add banner images to show above all the thumbnail images for a category. Something like this:

    You can also show categories listed as thumbnail images on a catalog page. As in :

    In the admin area of the module, you can upload images for banner or the thumbnails. You do not have to upload images for all the categories. That is upto your discretion as to how many categories

  • Adding related products to main Product

    Increase your chances for upselling by showing products that are related to what's in a customer's shopping cart, such as accessories and similar products.

    You can have a maximum of five related products. If you have fewer than five, the list is supplemented with featured products.

    Depending on the theme you're using, related products are also visible on product pages.

    1. On the left menu of the Back Office click Products and choose the product you want to work with.

  • What is the MagicZoom module?

    It is a self administered module which allows you to upload large images of all products that are usually around 1000 pixels wide by proportion. Product images on the detail view come from this module. In this module you can upload separate images for each color of the products.

    It is here that you can manage swatches module if that is also part of your customization packet.

  • Color Swatches App (English)

        

    Once installed and setup, the Color Swatches app will allow users of your site to select the color of a product based on representative swatch images you've uploaded.  So if you have product with color options like Red, Blue, or Leopard Print, you can upload images (or set a solid color) for each that shows the customer a swatch of that color/pattern on the product's details page.  When a swatch is clicked on, the color option is updated and eCom performs the standard functionality that normally occurs on color selection (i.e. pricing, stock, product image gallery info update).

  • What is Tier level pricing module?

    In AE admin, pricing tiers are setup via discount levels, account types and additional site pricing rows. To start, AE support will setup the necessary discount levels, account types and site pricing rows to accomplish the setup you’re looking for.

    Once setup, you’ll be able to manage each tiers pricing via Catalog>>Products>>Pricing. Here there will be a list of sites setup in your system (including the sites specific setup to manage
