  • Section 3 — How to Use This Manual

This manual is designed as a reference guide, not a step-by-step tutorial.

You do not need to read it from beginning to end.

    How the Manual Is Organized

Each section corresponds directly to a specific area of the CatalogPilot interface:

    • Dashboard & Review workflow
    • Product and Category management
    • Enrichment tabs (Products, Images, Variants, SEO, Attributes, ESG, Social, Legal, AI)
    • Storefront configuration
    • Billing and usage transparency

Sections are intentionally self-contained, so you can jump to what you need without losing context.

    How to Read It

    • Skim first to understand what a screen or feature does
    • Dive deeper only if you want
  • Section 27 — Incoming Catalog Connection (Platform Sync)

The Incoming section represents the live connection between your eCommerce platform and CatalogPilot.

This is the primary data pipeline that allows CatalogPilot to observe your catalog so enrichment can occur safely and externally.

This form is completed during onboarding and remains accessible for reference and updates.

    What This Connection Does

    CatalogPilot’s connector:

    • Securely reads your platform’s catalog data (products, images, descriptions, categories)
    • Maintains ongoing synchronization
    • Does not write, modify, or push data back to your platform
    • Does not interfere with pricing, inventory, checkout, or orders

CatalogPilot always operates outside your platform’s database.

This is reinforced by the inline tooltip shown

  • Section 36 — Invoices

The Invoices tab provides a clear, chronological record of all invoices generated for your CatalogPilot account. This section focuses on billing transparency and record-keeping, allowing merchants to review past charges, confirm payment status, and download invoices for accounting purposes.

    Invoice List Overview

Each row in the invoice list represents a single invoice, typically generated weekly for usage-based enrichment activity.

The table includes the following columns:

    • Invoice Number A unique invoice identifier using the CPILOT-YYYYMM-WEEK format. This clearly distinguishes CatalogPilot invoices from other billing systems and aligns them to specific usage periods.
    • Period (UTC) The date range covered by the invoice.
  • Section 23 — Category SEO Tab

The Category SEO tab controls how category pages are described, structured, and indexed by search engines and AI crawlers.

Unlike the Category Gallery (which visualizes machine-readable output), this tab exposes the underlying SEO control fields that power that output.

This tab is machine-oriented, not customer-facing.

Purpose of the Category SEO Tab

The Category SEO tab exists to:

    • Define how category pages are interpreted by search engines
    • Provide structured semantic anchors for category-level indexing
    • Ensure consistent, non-destructive SEO signals across the storefront

Most merchants do not need to edit this tab after initial enrichment.

    SEO Fields Explained

    The following fields are

  • Section 11 — Images / ADA Tab

The Images / ADA tab displays accessibility-optimized metadata generated for each product image. This information is machine-read first and is primarily consumed by screen readers, search engines, and accessibility tools—not by shoppers directly.

    What This Tab Represents

For each image, CatalogPilot generates three core accessibility fields:

    • Image Title – a concise identifier for the image
    • Alt Text – a descriptive sentence used by screen readers and accessibility software
    • Caption – optional contextual description that may be used by assistive technologies and structured data

These fields are produced using image-to-content mapping, where CatalogPilot analyzes the image in the context of:

    • The
  • Section 32 — Storefront: Users & Access Management

This section allows merchants to manage who can access CatalogPilot, what identity they use, and how they interact with the system.

CatalogPilot is designed to support multiple users per storefront, with shared visibility into catalog status and enrichment activity.

    Users List View

The Users panel displays a list of all users who currently have access to the storefront.

    Each row shows:

    • Name — the user’s display name
    • Email Address — used for login and notifications

    Standard table controls are available:

    • Search
    • Pagination
    • Per-page selection

Clicking a user row opens that user’s detail view.

The first area that we would investigate on an issue like this, is whether or not our internal server security system has blocked your access.

Please Google : what's my IP - and then copy and paste the IP number that you see and send it over to AdVision support ASAP.
