Adendo de Processamento de Dados (Data Processing Addendum – DPA) (pt-BR)
CatalogPilot™ – AdVision eCommerce Inc.
(Tradução oficial para Português do Brasil)
2. Natureza e Finalidade do Processamento
A Prestadora processa Dados Pessoais apenas na medida necessária para a prestação dos serviços CatalogPilot™, incluindo:
-
Section 4 — First-Time Workflow (What to Expect)
CatalogPilot is designed to get you real results early, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and human oversight during your first interaction with the system.
Your first enrichment is intentionally guided and verified, not instant — this is by design.
Step 1 — Connect Your Catalog
After signing up, you provide:
- Read-only API access to your platform
- Your public storefront URL
CatalogPilot begins collecting and normalizing your catalog data in the background.
Depending on catalog size and system load, this initial collection can take minutes to a few hours.
No changes are made to your storefront during this stage.
Step 2 —

Section 38 — Payments
The Payments tab provides secure access to CatalogPilot’s external billing portal, powered by Stripe.
Purpose of This Section
This area exists solely to give merchants a safe, self-service way to manage payment details without exposing sensitive financial information inside CatalogPilot itself.
CatalogPilot does not store or process credit card details directly.
What You’ll See
- A short description explaining that payment methods, subscriptions, and invoices are managed externally.
- A single action button: Access Billing Portal
Access Billing Portal
Clicking Access Billing Portal securely redirects you to Stripe’s hosted billing environment, where you can:
- Update or change your payment method
- View past
-
Section 24 — Category: Social
The Category Social tab controls how category pages are represented when shared on social platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and similar networks.
This tab defines social preview metadata, not storefront presentation.
Purpose of the Category Social Tab
The Category Social tab exists to:
- Provide optimized preview titles and descriptions for social sharing
- Ensure consistent, brand-safe messaging when category links are shared
- Support social platforms that rely on OpenGraph and Twitter Card metadata
These fields are machine-read by social platforms, not by customers browsing the site.
OpenGraph Fields
OpenGraph metadata is primarily used by:
- Messaging platforms that

Section 12 — Variants Tab
The Variants tab appears only when a product includes one or more variants (such as size, color, or fit). Its role is to provide visibility into how CatalogPilot represents variants for discovery, not to encourage routine editing.
Why Variants Are Represented Separately
CatalogPilot intentionally generates independent variant records derived from the parent product.
This is not duplication for duplication’s sake. It is a deliberate structural decision that enables:
- Variant-specific structured data
- Attribute-level indexing (size, color, fit, SKU)
- Improved discovery for long-tail and filtered searches
- Accurate interpretation by AI systems and shopping engines
In practice:
- One parent product remains the canonical
-
Section 33 — Storefront Activity & Errors
The Activity & Errors panel provides a complete, chronological audit of everything that happens inside CatalogPilot for a storefront.
This section is designed for transparency, traceability, and operational confidence.
Activity Tab
The Activity tab displays a detailed timeline of actions performed across the system, including but not limited to:
- Enrichment actions (products, images, categories, variants)
- Approval actions
- Batch state transitions (Queued → Enriching → Finalizing → Completed)
- Manual edits
- System-generated events
Each row includes:
- Activity type (e.g., Enriched, Approved, Status Changed)
- Description of the action
- User who initiated the action
- Timestamp (created or updated)
- Amount, when the action is billable

Import an arbitrary .csv file
If you lack certain fields or assign incorrect names to products you will very likely receive error messages, preventing the sheet from being loaded. Lightspeed eCom uses .csv or .xml files. To import products of your previous store, you will have to convert its import sheet to the Lightspeed eCom sheet structure.
Copy the fields from the import sheet of your previous store to the template sheet. When you have finished, you may import it through SYSTEM > Tools > Imports in the left menu of the back office. For more information about importing and an explanation on the columns used in the sheet please see

Advanced Dynamic Filter Limitations
In implementing the Advanced Dynamic Filter app in your eCom website, we'll be taking over the thumbnail result loading and display on any category pages. To accomplish this, certain limitations are currently in place:
Non-standard Features
Non-standard theme features within thumbnail displays may not be possible or may require additional work outside the standard app install scope.
eCom's "Discount Rules" Thumbnail Price Display
The app cannot currently support displaying discounted pricing from eCom's "Discount Rules" feature (https://ecom-support.lightspeedhq.com/hc/en-us/articles/220662787-Creating-discount-rules), because the discount rules feature generates the discount pricing on the fly (instead of updating the pricing directly in the catalog, which is
